What we do
Whether your vehicle is a runner or not; is beyond repair, an ELV (End of Life Vehicle), is accident damaged or an MOT Test failure – worry not, we are well equipped to deal with any of the above, our fully insured, polite and punctual team of drivers will take it away for you, leaving you with piece of mind that your vehicle will be disposed of and recycled to the highest standards.
Not only do we fully depollute every vehicle to ensure a complete environmentally safe disposal, we have also reached the target of recycling a minimum of 95% of the non-metallic components of each vehicle.
Our History
In 2008, our Company Owners Jamie and Millie Davies started saving to spend a year in Australia. However, Jamie decided that he would rather invest the savings in a recovery truck. Jamie started by collecting just one car a week in October 2009 and continued until he had enough stock to support a full-time role for himself and create the first salvage yard.
His improving business took hold so quickly that his wife Millie was able to join him 2 years later.
By November 2014, the business had increased significantly, and it was obvious that larger premises were needed. Once these had been secured, the long road to gaining planning permission for a massive increase in stock was finally passed.
Our Business Today...
Licensed by the Environment Agency, we are fully compliant with current legislation to recycle end of life vehicles. Directly linked to the DVLA, our customers can witness the speedy process of issuing a Certificate of Destruction, safe in the knowledge that their vehicle details can’t be cloned or used for illegal purposes.
To date, we can boast a stock between 300-400 cars at a time. We support local businesses and companies (Garages and garage services) with a wide variety of quality warranted salvaged parts for all makes and models of vehicles, from a Smart car to a Hummer and everything in between, as well as collecting vehicles for dismantling from Melton and the surrounding areas.
There are always areas that are evolving and to keep up with, this is why both Jamie and Millie study hard, attending course such as EPOC (Environmental Permitting Operators Certificate), Millie has obtained her WAMITAB qualification, both of these are nationally recognised qualifications which ensure that husband and wife team are experts in their field and are up to date with all topics covering Salvage and the environment.
With a wealth of knowledge in the salvage business, we take great pride in providing a reliable, value for money service to all customers, regularly gaining work through customer recommendation and positive word of mouth.
